So I am trying to copy some old messages to archive folder and outlook tells me that it can’t do that because it has reached maximum file size. What???Got to love Microsoft. Even though I have NTFS-formatted drive and modern version of outlook out-of-the box it still comes with a limit! The error message suggests that I permanently delete some items. I don’t want to delete, I want to archive! And I have worked with Windows long enough to know that you do not ever move items. You always copy, verify that copy worked, then delete from original location.
Good thing about Microsoft is that once they release something they do stand behind it and they will help you to get it working right. Microsoft support site is a wealth of information and once again it has come through for me. Here, enjoy https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/832925
